Wawa's Pumpkin Cheesecake Smoothie Copycat

Equipment

  • Immersion blender, or any high-speed blender.
  • Spatula
  • A good taste!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup Red October pumpkin puree or the equivalent to 150 grams
  • 1 ounce cream cheese
  • 4 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • pinch ground ginger
  • pinch ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes
  • 1 piece crushed graham cracker crumbs
  • whipped cream to garnish optional
  • 1 piece cinnamon stick to garnish optional

Instructions

  • Place all of the ingredients in the blender, except for the crakers.
  • Cover and blend until puree-textured. This will take about 30-60 seconds.
  • Get your pretty smoothie type of glass and serve.
  • Top it with whipped cream, crushed graham cracker, a pinch of ground cinnamon, and if you're feeling ambitious, stab it with the cinnamon stick.
  • Take a deep breath, give it a sip and enjoy!

Notes

Tips and Tricks

The ice cubes bring air bubbles and freshness to any smoothie or milkshake. If you don't believe me, try it with and without them and check it out.
If you want to give this recipe a healthy twist, replace some of these ingredients:
  • Cream cheese for Greek yogurt or Cottage cheese.
  • Whole milk for Coconut milk.
  • Also, remove the whipped cream and leave the ground cinnamon and the cinnamon stick.
