Equipment

  • Digital gram scale
  • Sieve
  • 1 medium bowl
  • 1 large bowl
  • 5 small bowls
  • 1 teaspoon
  • 1 deep casserole or pot
  • Heatproof spatula
  • Manual whisk

Ingredients
  

  • 250 g Milk full cream
  • 60 g Sugar
  • 25 g Butter
  • 20 g Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • 2 tsp Cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 pinch Salt

Instructions

  • Weigh all the ingredients on the scale.
  • Sift cocoa powder and cornstarch, mix well.
  • Put the cocoa mixture in a pot, add the milk, and whisk.
  • Add the sugar, vanilla, and salt. Mix until combined.
  • Cook on medium heat for 6 minutes. Don't stop stirring.
  • Once it gets thick, turn off the heat. Stir with your heatproof spatula and let it rest.
  • Strain your chocolate sauce in a bowl, and let it cool at room temperature.
  • Get your cheesecake out of the oven, let it cool, and pour your creamy chocolate sauce on top of it. Serve and enjoy!
