Always remember to preheat the oven before you start preparing your dish or dessert. So, start by preheating the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
Meanwhile, put the brownie mix in a large bowl, add the eggs, melted butter, the water, and whisk manually. Until well combined. Or just make sure you follow the brownie mix box directions.
Grease and line your pan with parchment paper and spray the parchment paper with nonstick baking spray. Then, add a layer of the brownie mixture, spread it out evenly. You can also add a few crushed Oreo cookies, and repeat the process a couple more times, and set them aside.
In the meantime, get another bowl and put the Philadelphia cheese, vanilla essence, sugar, and egg. Mix well until smooth.
Next, spread this layer very carefully above the brownie mixture and try to leave it as thick as the brownie layer. You can put some crushed oreo pieces on top too.
Bake your cheesecake brownies for about 45 minutes.
You can insert a toothpick into the brownie center until comes out clean, or with a few moist crumbs attached. Then, you can turn off the oven.
Another important fact is that the center will seem under-baked but don't worry, the brownies will continue to set as they cool.
Next, remove your brownies from the oven and cool for about 30 minutes at room temperature. Place them on a rack or proof heat base.
Once completely cool, refrigerate your brownies for about 4 hours or overnight. Don't forget to cover them with plastic film or aluminum foil. Doing this will avoid cross-contamination like odors or something falling on your precious brownies. The voice of experience speaks to you, sniff!
